'Unseasonably Warm’ is an ongoing documentary series by Highlands-based photographer Alexander Williamson, exploring the impact of climate change on Scotland's skiing industry.
In the short to medium term, climate data points to Scottish winters becoming warmer and wetter. This has huge implications: for seasonal tourism in Scotland and the economic impact on the local areas the industry supports; for Scotland's snowsports heritage and cultural identity; and for the delicate ecosystems within the landscape itself.
