Alastair Kingsbury has spent the last ten years carrying his camera through the streets of Glasgow, capturing moments of absurdity, ambiguity, beauty and joy.

Powered by a restless FOMO every time the sun is out, Alastair documents the unexpected in everyday life playing out on the streets.

Life as a street photographer can be tough in a city with precious little sunlight, so you'll find gems from ventures further afield scattered throughout his work.

Inspired by the likes of Joel Meyerowitz, Alex Webb and Harry Gruyaert, Alastair is drawn to the moments he can't plan for. As Martine Franck put it, "you have to be constantly watching for it, ready to welcome the unexpected."
