PhotoDalkeith returns to Dalkeith Palace for its third year, presenting PhotoDalkeith RSA200 in partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy to mark its bicentenary. The exhibition celebrates Scotland’s rich photographic heritage and the evolution of photography as an art form.
Set within the stunning surroundings of Dalkeith Palace, the exhibition traces a line from founding RSA member David Octavius Hill RSA to contemporary Academicians and award-winners, including Thomas Joshua Cooper RSA, Wendy McMurdo RSA, Graham Fagen RSAand Calum Colvin RSA. Works from the RSA collection will be complemented by newly commissioned photography.
