Books in Focus: Photobooks

Our series of ‘Books in Focus’ sessions focuses on artists’ books and archive material held in the special collections of the National Galleries of Scotland. This session will be an exploration of some of the photographic books in the collection, including Facile, a collection of love poems written by Paul Eluard, elegantly typeset around double exposure photographs by Man Ray, Wundergarten der Natur by Karl Blossfeldt, a contemporary of August Sander, and Henri Cartier-Bresson’s The Decisive Moment with a cover design by Henri Matisse.
