World Press Photo Exhibition 2023: Edinburgh, Scotland

Visit the premiere of the World Press Photo Exhibition 2023 in The Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, Scotland, showcasing the stories that matter with award-winning photography from the 66th annual World Press Photo Contest.This is the only venue in the UK where the exhibition can be seen, and admission is free. This year’s exhibition coincides with The Festival of Politics, also being hosted by The Scottish Parliament in August.

World Press Photo was founded in 1955 when a group of Dutch photographers organized a contest (“World Press Photo”) to expose their work to an international audience. Since then, our mission has expanded. Our contests have grown into one of the world’s most prestigious competitions, rewarding the best in photojournalism and documentary photography. Through our successful worldwide exhibition program, we present to millions of people the stories that matter.
