THE LIGHT IN HIGH PLACES

Join Island Darkroom for the opening of their latest exhibition featuring images by Jon Macleod, created on residencies in Norway and St Kilda. Based on the Isle of Lewis, Jon uses various alt-process printing techniques to create subtle imagery filled with intricate story-telling, inspired by his extensive travels and his island home. He works closely in dialogue with natural and human worlds, exploring entanglements and interfaces between the two through an involved multidisciplinary approach. In recent years he has recently taken part in Residencies in Norway, Newfoundland, Senegal and St.Kilda.
