How does photography engage with climate change in the context of Scotland? TalkSeePhotography host the release of NOTES Issue 6, which is dedicated to photographic projects that engage with the Anthropocene.

In Issue 2, NOTES commissioned an essay which discussed Landscape photography in the age of the Anthropocene. The content in Issue 6 is a development of thoughts that this essay enunciated. The issue will feature Aase Goldsmith, Anna Bokström, Sean Patrick Campbell, Myles Painter, The duo Eyes as big as Plates, Maria Sledmere and Ana Lopez, among others.

NOTES is an artist-run photography journal dedicated to developing grassroots-led interdisciplinary discourse that situates Scottish photography in a larger context.

Through a regular series of artist talks and lectures, TalkSeePhotography aims to foster an open forum for discussions on the photographic medium in Scotland and beyond. The monthly events offer a diverse range of topics, a place to see new work and discover fresh ideas, and a much needed opportunity for those with varying relationships to photography to exchange ideas and expand their networks.
