Sweet Spot

SWEET SPOT is a photography project taking place in sites across Arbroath during July through to end of October 2023.

The Brothock Gallery @ Arbroath Library hosts the complete project in a specially designed exhibition which also features work produced during workshops with schools and community groups. Look out for the  free Sweet Spot Arbroath mini-tabloid newspaper and Sweet Spot book that is available to buy from the Library and from this site.

SWEET SPOT is based on fictional places of our imagination. A universal town perhaps, with a past, present and future. At the centre of Sweet Spot is the central paradox of when 'Nowhere' becomes 'Everywhere' and how ultimately our sense of place and wellbeing is affected. Living in a digital era, where every thing and every place collide into a seeming oneness; time seems to shorten.
