SPACE TO BREATHE: Nature, Process, Art & Image is Scotland's latest photography exhibition and art festival, located at Bowhouse, St Monans, Fife. The exhibition will centre on the physical and mental creative processes of four great artist-photographers documenting the natural world. Harry Cory Wright, Susan Derges, Andy Goldsworthy and Alexander Lindsay approach landscape and nature in their artistic output in unique methods. Yet they are linked by their experimentation and the physicality of their creative processes. For them, the action of making the work is of equal, if not greater, concern than the resulting image. They find creative fulfilment in the journey it takes to the final image.

The selling exhibition will be shown alongside an ongoing art festival featuring a selection of lecture events by seminal speakers including Martin Barnes (Senior Curator at V&A London), Ben Harman (Director of Stills Gallery), and Beth Bate (Director of Dundee Contemporary Arts).

The exhibition will open on Saturday 15 July and run until Sunday 6 August, from Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00am-6:00pm. Both the exhibition and festival will be free and open to the public. For more information, please visit our website.
