Issue 108 – ‘GENERATIONS’

The last thirty years have seen a transformation in photography. This period has seen the switch from analogue to digital, the advent of social media as well as a host of social and cultural changes. Trish Morrissey, who has recently put together a retrospective of her own work, joins us to discuss how the passage of time has played a part in the evolution of her work.

Julian Germain’s series ‘Generations’ is a collection of family group portraits, made across the UK since the early 2000s, documenting four and five-generation families in their homes. Germain will introduce the series and the questions it raises about families and genetic journeys.

Free to attend. Booking is essential. This event will take place via Zoom. A link to watch the event will be sent to all ticket holders on Wednesday 10 August. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Chloé via subs@source.ie.
