Join us (virtually) on April 15th between 7pm and 8pm for a visually stimulating, audio-lly engaging, interactively spectacular talk by emerging artist Tayo Adekunle. She will be discussing her use of photography to implement historical figures and events into the present day, reworking and subverting historical tropes about the black female body. By using archival imagery and combining it with her own self portraiture she confronts the continuing fetishisation and othering of the black body. As well as talking about past projects she will be discussing new ideas and works currently in motion. The event will be held on Zoom, her talk will be followed by a Q&A and the event will last one hour.
