Are you a photographer interested in ecology, the natural world or the climate crisis? We want to hear from you!
This could be:
– Research around “eco-friendly” photography materials & processes.
– How photographers are making their practice more sustainable.
– Photographic projects on themes of conservation, the climate crisis, and the environment.
This will be an informal event in Stills. On the night, we welcome attendees to present short 5 minute presentations about themselves or their work, followed by an open discussion around sustainability in photography. Please feel free to attend without doing a presentation as well. All are welcome!
We hope to bring together photographers and artists working in this area to share resources and ideas, allowing connections and networks to be made that will allow us to support each other in reducing our
environmental impact.
If you would like to speak about yourself or your work at the event, please email zoe.hamill@stills.org in advance with a short title or summary of your presentation. There will be a screen available to present work on, or you are welcome to bring along some prints.
