As part of our research for future issues, Source will be organising Zoom meetings with photographers to look at new photographic work. Each meeting provides an opportunity to directly introduce new work to one of our editors. This is one of the ways we find new work for publication in the Portfolio section of the magazine.
You must either be a subscriber (print or digital) or have bought a copy of Source within the last 12 months to submit. (Subscriptions and single copies are available via our online shop). This opportunity is open to photographers from or living in Ireland or the UK.
To submit your work, please email research@source.ie using the subject heading ‘Research Meetings 2025’ with:
- A PDF or Powerpoint no larger than 30MB. The PDF can include up to 15 images.
- Up to three paragraphs of text that give a background to your new work.
- Your name, contact phone number and web address.
- Proof of your subscription or recent purchase (such as a photograph of your copy or screenshot of your order receipt).
- 50 words (approx.) telling us about something you enjoyed in a recent issue of Source and why.
- Please specify whether you are from Northern Ireland or elsewhere in Ireland or the UK, and/or where you are currently based.
The deadline for submissions is 4.00pm on the 28th March, 2025.
