The zine No Parking uses photography to tackle the idea of how spaces are controlled and for what purpose. Looking specifically at no parking signs to decipher the semiotics around us, it aims to open up a conversation about how they affect our everyday lives.
At the launch, there will be a limited amount of Zines to take for free, and then a copy will be viewable at the Glasgow Zine Library.
Alan Bell is an analogue photographer working across many mediums using photography to delve into the society we live and its impact upon the land and people affected by it. Currently focusing on how the semiotics around our effect our everyday lives.
