I hope that when I finally open my eyes, I find myself snuggled up on the familiar couch that was once my cherished home. The sunlight was casting a warm glow on my face through the gaps in the curtains. Soon, mom would be home and I could drift off to sleep a little longer. Scenes like this have come to my mind countless times - intimate moments that were never captured by the lens of a camera. Constantly imagining and shooting became my way of resurrecting these vivid moments from memory. Photography has always been a private matter for me, with no grandiose propositions, and what I tell with my photographs are only stories and experiences that are similar to those of most people. I didn’t immortalize her in a photograph, nor did I capture the passion of my happiest day. Even the moment we said our final goodbyes has faded from memory. This is how I survive - day after day, I immerse myself in the darkroom, using my laws of manifestation, waiting for the photographs to manifest your once face, and you will reappear to me.」
