Human Wanderlust

Human Wanderlust is a photography exhibition of people in their environment when travelling.

In his work, Paul’s images combine a description and emotion to both inform and engage the viewer of a human experience evoking a story and at times a sense of intrigue.

Inspired by humanist photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and André Kertész his work is a reaction to a moment whilst maintaining a sense of form and sympathy with his subjects.

Unaware that their photograph is being taken, he often uses a wide angle lens to get very close to a subject or blends as a traveller capturing an event that is both ephemeral and spontaneous.

Paul is a professional photographer based in Inverness covering commercial and press work across Scotland. The exhibition features photographic prints and unique hand-printed photographs using Polymer Photogravures.
