FUTUREPROOF 2023

Street Level Photoworks is delighted to be partnering again with Harbour Arts Centre in this years Futureproof, which is now in its fifteenth year.  The exhibition showcases some of the new talent of recently graduated artists from across the length and breadth of Scotland’s dedicated Photography and Fine Art courses. The exhibition is just a taste of the tidal wave of creativity which emerges every year from Scotland’s further education institutions.

Work this year covers a range of genres and subject matter –the fragile environment, family, heritage, memory, place and identity. This is conveyed through a range of approaches – landscape, both remote and urban, constructed photography and mixed media.

Susan Allan, Codie Winkle, Maria Touloupa, Alan Bell, Karyn Priestley, Haneen Hadiy, Hannah Grant, Nikoline Sonasson, Erin Frater, Rhys Thomson, Eve Miller, and Lauren Jones. Work emanates from Glasgow School of Art, City of Glasgow College, Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh Napier University, Edinburgh College, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (Dundee), and Gray’s School of Art / Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen).
