Finding Home: Photography and Representation

Join artist Margaret Mitchell for Finding Home: Photography and Representation, a special panel discussion and closing event for her exhibition An Ordinary Eden.

We will be joined by two participants from the project who will discuss their experience of working with Margaret to make the portraits and collaborating on the Stories from Finding Home book that accompanies the exhibition.

Margaret will discuss the issues around representation when working with marginalised individuals, her responsibility as an artist to make work that is both honest and ethical, and the rewarding and connections she has made with those she has photographed for the project.

They will also be joined by representatives from Shelter Scotland, who will discuss the challenges and the wider issues faced by those with lived experience of homelessness.
