BOOKENDS // Photobook Critique Club

The fifth edition of our photobook critique club! This session is for those at any stage of the photobook-making process, offering space to talk about a work-in-progress, or reflect on something published a wee while ago. So if you've been searching for somewhere to talk about production or sequencing before going to print, share a dummy, look back on an older work, or share your favourite photobook discovery of late... this is for you.

BOOKENDS is an opportunity to present in a welcoming and informal environment, and ask for new perspectives. The event is designed for:

• Photographers wanting feedback on a work-in-progress photobook or zine
• Photographers sharing something made a wee while ago with fresh eyes
• Photobook fans bringing their favourite work by someone else to share

You do not need to be presenting work to attend, and curious observers who love listening to others speak about their work are welcome! Please select the relevant ticket when booking depending on if you plan on presenting work. This is so that we know how many people are bringing work and can allocate time accordingly.

Participants presenting work are encouraged to bring sequenced prints, mock-ups, or dummy copies of the book you will be speaking about. We can organise a projector in case you want to show digital content, but if so please let us know in advance of the session via email (hello@agitate.scot). We will update the event agenda as presenters are confirmed.
