Paul Walton is an ecologist from Glasgow, interested in our shifting relationships with each other, the land, other species, and with the Atlantic during a period of environmental upheaval.

The exhibition features images from Paul's ‘zines’ focusing on a small unremarkable pool, and a small unremarkable stream.  Both are in the West Highlands, and both in ecologically degraded landscapes.

Despite this, these waters retain a charge, an undercurrent that speaks beyond the present.

The photographs are all hand printed in the Street Level Photoworks darkroom in Glasgow and made using 35mm and medium format cameras, as well as pinhole cameras and modified shutter cameras.
