Back Doon the Watter is a project which looks at the survival of the traditional west coast holiday, the urban population heading down the Clyde to enjoy our very own riviera experience.
Prior to the full exhibition showing later in the year, a touring show with images and a film will visit many of the locations forever associated with trips Doon the Watter.If you’re in any of the places, at the times, listed on the poster, keep your eyes open for the white van decorated with images from the show, and take the weight off for five minutes to view the film in the travelling cinema.
