"A found slide from the 80s taken by my father for the Clydebank Camera Club. A photograph sent by my sister, taken of a delivered skip for a household clear-out, unknowingly sent upside down. I knew straight away that I wanted to work with both images. I have always been sent photographs from my sister of architecture; I find this of great familial comfort. This has recently reignited ideas of memory, of place and time – the work has always revolved around a sense of history, of the spaces that inspire and the journey of making the work. Throughout this exhibition I aim to examine architectural elements alongside the familial space." - Ros Lawless
