Simon Murphy is a photographer best known for his street photography of the people of Govanhill. His work has won numerous awards, most recently winning an award in the coveted portrait of Britain award.

His work also regularly features in our magazine - 'Behind the Portrait' is a feature where we interview one of his photo's subject.

Come along for an evening of tip and tricks and photography knowledge, plus here all about Simon's current project '100 Rolls'.

The event will be held in The Community Newsroom, 82 Bowman Street, Glasgow, G42 8LF, just off Victoria Road. Please note that while there is ramp access to the space, there is not yet a toilet installed which is suitable for wheelchair users.

Hot food and refreshments will be provided to all guests. Please let us know in the form if you have any dietary requirements.

This event is made possible by the Winter Wellbeing Fund provided by the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership. It is the first of a series of talks, workshops and screenings we will be holding as a way of creating new connections and building community power.
