The images explore the space inside public telephone boxes. From simply as a way to connect people in pre-mobile and internet communication days to its often used new role as private space for the consumption of fortified alcohol and controlled drugs.
Furthermore, the exhibition continues the creative collaboration between photographer Des Kodur and writer Elaine Reid whose accompanying words once again complements the visuals with a mixture of emotions which not only understands and reinforces the mood of the images but contributes significantly with verse which is familiar in its use of Scots dialect, local language and tenor.
