Stacey Tyrell is a photo-based artist whose work predominantly deals with themes of identity, race and heritage as it pertains to post-colonial societies and the Caribbean Diaspora. Her images have appeared in exhibitions internationally including the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and she currently is based in Brooklyn, NY, USA.

This talk runs as part of the digital online exhibition “Identity•Connection•Place” which launches on March 8th (International Women’s Day) and is run by Feminist Photography Network (FPN) , a shifting collective run by co-directors Jennifer Long and Clare Samuel.
FPNexhibit.com showcases work from FPN’s online peer to peer residencies which connected woman-identifying artists from Canada and the UK.
