The centrepiece of the evening will revolve around Document Scotland’s current work: A Contested Land, which will be premiered at the Martin Parr Foundation in Bristol from 16th January until 16th March, 2019, before it tours to three venues in Scotland: Perth Museum, The Burgh Halls, Dunoon and FLOW Photofest in Inverness, in September, 2019.

A Contested Land features new projects by each of the collective’s four photographers: Colin McPherson, Jeremy Sutton-Hibbert, Sophie Gerrard and Stephen McLaren.

The evening will be hosted by members of Document Scotland who will show their work on a large screen. Each photographer will talk for around 10 minutes and then take questions for around five minutes.

Document Scotland have also invited fellow Scottish photographers Arpita Shah and Margaret Mitchell to present and talk about their work.
