Colony of Artists: David Williams

Photographer David Williams will have his work shown in Citadel Books bookshop as part of the annual Colony of Artists event. David's work will be on show throughout the Colony of Artists event and will continue to be shown for a further 2 weeks.

David Williams is an Edinburgh-based photographer whose work has been widely exhibited and published. He was Head of Photography at Edinburgh College of Art from 1990 to 2017. In 2018 he was nominated for the prestigious Kyoto Prize in Arts and Philosophy. The present exhibit is a triptych, Cedar Tree, Tofuku-ji Zen Temple, Kyoto, 2003.

At 2pm on both the 21st and the 22nd September Alan Spence will be giving a reading and David will be available to talk about his work.
