This exhibition contrasts the film photography of two members of the Inverness Darkroom, who work in very different ways, yet find resonance through their appreciation  of  landscape.

Terry Williams’ photographs carefully examine the natural world through an exploration of shape, form and texture. Her humanistic eye is drawn to small details, and she is inspired by the manner which nature transforms and reshapes the world we see around us.

Peter Johnston focuses on elements of our built environment, found in both the town and the country. He constructs his prints using deep contrast to accentuate structural forms and highlight the way buildings are dominant features in the landscape.

This exhibition is supported by FLOW Photofest and we are grateful for the loan of exhibition frames.
