Announcing our autumn group exhibition, New Contemporaries 2, which hosts three artists who were featured in our latsest Studies in Photography Summer 2025 journal. Each artist will exhibit a series of portraits from their most recent bodies of work, analysing identity, the tension between personal and public life, nature and human worlds, and the spaces between.

This exhibition is FREE admission. All are welcome.

Showing works from Humanoid Vegetalis Studies (2022-ongoing) and We Are Queens (2024), Laetitia Heisler has experimented with the analogue photographic process to capture spiritual solitude and intimate feminist themes. Each print is unique, emphasising fluidity, change and transformation.

Showing work from her series The Hollow Men (2024), Gabriela Pieniążek's work focuses on presence, self-witnessing, and the depth of womanhood. The artist is both subject and witness in this seies of photographic contemplation, drawing inspiration from T. S. Eliot's poem of the same name.

Showing work from his series Between the Lines (2024), Graham Williams draws our attention to places of transit in Berlin, and the chaotic rhythym that exists between static architecture and the movement of people through them. His work speaks of tension between change and stasis, and the meditative thoughts that can exist in these intersections.
