University of St Andrews Launch New Photographic Collections

The University of St Andrews has been collecting photography since 1844. The University Library now holds about a million photographs, which are found in manuscript collections, the archive, rare books and stand-along photographic collections. The main aim of the new site is to improve the discoverability, usability and shareability of the amazing collection of photographs in all formats and of all ages. The result is that there are now over 300,000 high resolution images available online.
