The Scottish Portrait Awards in Photography and Fine Art are open to anyone over 16 years on 1 November 2026 who was born, or is living or studying in Scotland.
The 2026 Scottish Portrait Awards exhibition will be held at the National Galleries of Scotland, Portrait, from November 2026 to March 2027.

MPB Scottish Portrait Award in Photography exhibition will feature 60 works and is open to conceptual and surrealist imagery as well as traditional portraiture created using any photographic process. Scotland Now! Phone Portrait Award will include 50 photographs presented on a rolling digital display. Entires must be created on a phone by anyone over 16 living in Scotland. The photograph must be taken after 1 January 2025 in Scotland, of someone or a group of people who live in Scotland. Entry to Scotland Now! is free. Learn more about the Scotland Now!
