A photography exhibition by Martyna Maz of hand made darkroom prints, celebrating the surprise aspect of image making and the unexpected outcomes revealed in the photographic darkroom.

A wonderful myriad of events takes place as the film is being exposed to light inside the camera. An endless, yet precise in that moment, amount of tiny light particles mix on the surface of the analogue medium. They organise themselves into clusters of light and shadow, for one doesn't exist without the other. The results, seen only after the film has been developed with the use of chemistry, is like a blueprint or strain of genes. From them an infinite pool of possibilities arises.
