North Lanarkshire Arts welcomes you to a celebratory evening which presents a creative response to Ravenscraig.

Artists Hamshya Rajkumar, Frank McElhinney, and Dr Amanda Thomson have been exploring the site of the former Ravenscraig steelworks as part of A Fragile Correspondence, a project and exhibition which is a forthcoming collateral event at the prestigious 18th international Scotland & Venice Biennale, 2023. Join them to hear about their work in progress.

During the evening, you'll also hear from:

Architecture Fringe (project curators) - sharing their concept and vision for the overall project/exhibition.
Martin Brown, writer and ex-employee of Ravenscraig - reading from his collection of short stories about working life at the plant.

Ilona Kacieja, North Lanarkshire based artist and film-maker - screening her film about Ravenscraig, Red Dust (2013).

Refreshments from 6.30pm with event starting from 7pm.
