Artist Kristian Smith presents a solo exhibition of new work as part of centenary
celebrations for Muriel Spark, one of Scotland's most internationally respected writers.

An installation of new work in photography and collage, PASSENGERS  will reflect diverse themes relating to the life and work of writer Muriel Spark, from her literary influences and views on ecology to Catholicism and her close personal relationships.

The only visual arts recipient of a Muriel Spark 100: Endless Different Ways Grant Award, Kristian Smith undertook an artist residency in Tuscany, Italy to make new work and develop the show which will be presented in the newly renovated gallery of the historic Custom House of Leith, Edinburgh.
