In ‘Megaliths and Monoliths’, ancient standing stones and modern architectural structures are examined as variations of the same human form: the singular vertical marker embedded in landscape.

The resulting photographs occupy a space between documentation and ritual, permanence and impermanence.

The images are produced through analogue photographic processes and subsequently altered by placing physical materials — including crystals, sugar, and translucent plastics — directly onto the photographic surface.  All are hand-printed at the Inverness Darkroom.
