It is early morning and young Russian couples, inhabitants of Saint Petersburg and Moscow, are sleeping in their bedrooms. They’re preparing to become parents in a few months, and the camera documents both their poses and also the details of their interiors. Bed sheets, objects of daily life and decorations tell how the last generation born before the fall of the Soviet Union currently lives in big cities of modern Russia.
