Jacob Rees-Mogg and me: the art of the political picture

You are invited to this special event where Craig Easton will interview Colin McPherson about one of Colin's most iconic and widely-published images – the photograph of aspiring English politician Jacob Rees-Mogg taken during his failed attempt to be elected as an MP in Fife, Scotland in 1997.

Colin will reveal the story behind how the photograph was taken, the circumstances of an extraordinary day on the doorsteps of Glenrothes and what happened next as the career of Jacob Rees-Mogg became intertwined with the photograph over subsequent years.
