Join Ingrid Pollard and Mason Leaver-Yap in conversation online as they discuss Pollard’s recent residency and commission with Glasgow Women’s Library, and the process of working within a relatively young archive.
Pollard is a multi-media artist, photographer, researcher and lecturer. Ingrid has developed a social practice concerned with representation, history and landscape with reference to race, difference and the materiality of lens-based media. In 2019 she was commissioned to undertake a residency and produce new works in response to the Lesbian Archive held at Glasgow Women’s Library.
Mason Leaver-Yap works with artists to produce texts, exhibitions and events, and has worked with Pollard in the past (Hot Moment, Auto Italia, 2020).
