This workshop is a chance to experiment with a variety of different ways of making pictures with the cyanotype process.

Please note: This event will take place outside.

The cyanotype process, also known as sunprinting, is a historic photographic process where images are made with the light from the sun. The prints are distinctive for their deep blue colour.

This workshop is a chance to experiment with a variety of different ways of making pictures with the cyanotype process. We’ll explore our surroundings allowing ourselves to respond to the textures, shapes and shadows that speak to us, and use the techniques we have learnt to make pictures that capture something that tells the story of those journeys we made through the space.

This workshop is suitable for all ages, young children to be accompanied by an adult.
