Announcing the 3rd biennial FLOW Photofest

Saturday 4th September to Saturday 2nd October 2021, with some shows extended to 16th October.

We are delighted to announce that FLOW Photofest, the international photography festival held across the Highlands & Islands, Moray & Orkney, will open in September 2021 with the theme of LEGACY.

Work will be on show from Fort William to Kirkwall, and Elgin to the Isle of Lewis. Indoor exhibitions will be held in Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, Eden Court Theatre,  The McCallum Art House, Elgin Museum, The Island Darkroom, and Pop Gallery as well as pop up spaces in Inverness and surrounding area.

Headlining the Festival this year at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery  is the World Premier of “Caledonian Desire Lines”  by Thomas Joshua Cooper of Glasgow School of Art.

A range of exciting exhibitions in a variety of locations includes work from:  Daria Garnik, Terje Abusdal, Jo Bentdal, Helge Skodvin, Margaret Mitchell, Flannery O’Kafka, Frances Scott, Gavin Smith, Alastair Fletcher, Simon Riddle, Sekai Machache, Danielle Macleod, Sean Patrick Campbell, David Williams, Lynne Strachan, Kathryn Joseph, Sanni Seppo, Vera Saltzam, Charlotta Maria Hauksdottir, Ruby Pluhar, and Mikkel Hørlyck.

This year we are also delighted to be collaborating with the Nairn Book and Arts Festival, the Orkney Science Festival and linking with the Stirling Photography Festival through the work of Frances Scott on the A9
