'Don't Blink - Robert Frank' Film Screening

Join us as Film Und Foto Klub launches on the 13th of April. We will kickstart the club by showing various films from photographer Robert Frank, and starting with Don't Blink, directed by Laura Israel.

Robert Frank revolutionized photography and independent film. He documented the Beats, Welsh coal miners, Peruvian Indians, The Stones, London bankers, and the Americans. This is the bumpy ride, revealed with unblinking honesty by the reclusive artist himself.

Don’t Blink is Israel’s like-minded portrait of her friend and collaborator Robert Frank, a lively mix of images and sounds and recollected passages and unfathomable losses and friendships that leaves us a fast and fleeting imprint of the life of the Swiss-born man who reinvented himself the American way, and is still standing on ground of his own making at the age of 91. – New York Film Festival description

Screening: 13th April 2023, 7pm - 10pm.

This is a ticketed event and you must book in order to guarantee attendance. Tickets work on a sliding scale, and all proceeds help AGITATE continue to operate. Your donations ensure the survival of spaces like this, and allow us to keep the lowest priced tickets really affordable or free for those who aren't currently able to pay.

Accessibility: Unfortunately we inhabit a very old tenement building and our screening room is down a steep set of metal stairs. This event is therefore not wheelchair accessible.
