Join Culture Collective Lead Artist Bash Khan and Support Artist Stella Rooney for a special outdoor screening of their film By Leaves We Live, made in collaboration with with local children at St Francis and Blackfriars Primary Schools. The short film draws on a COP26 theme asked people to explore through film how climate change is affecting us as individuals, our surroundings, families and communities.

The film was recently awarded 'Best Environmental Message' by Film Access Scotland as part of their Climate Challenge: 1.5 Degrees Films at Glasgow Film Theatre. The judges said 'they liked the environmental message and collaborative approach applied to the film’.

The film runs for 3mins and will be played on a loop until 6pm. Please note this an outdoor screening so please wear warm clothing as weather may be changeable, check social media for updates on the day in case of adverse weather effecting plans.

Artists Bash Khan and Stella Rooney are based in the Gorbals for a year-long community based residency, developing opportunities for people to get involved in creative photography and video. Developed by Street Level Photoworks, as part of Creative Scotland's Culture Collective programme.
