Alan Dimmick: In Conversation With Ben Harman

Join us in the gallery for a special evening with photographer Alan Dimmick. In conversation with Director of Stills Ben Harman, Alan will be discussing his practice and the creation of his comprehensive archival project, ADPA, followed by a Q&A.

Alan has spent more than 4 decades making photographs - of the vibrant arts scenes of Scotland, of his friends and family, of nature - and through this intimate discussion will be reflecting on his practice and considering the subjects he has returned to again and again.

Alongside this conversation will be the opportunity to view some of his negatives and contact sheets, see a digital presentation of the archive, and purchase signed copies of his book Photographs 1977-2017 at a special discounted price.
